Munooshi you say? It’s a cross between a Yiros and a Calzone. Pita bread with yiros filling, folded in half and then grilled.
The staff are ever so friendly which is expected in Middle Eastern culture. The lady behind the counter took the time to explain what a munooshi was and what some of the favourite menu items were. We all ordered, waited upstairs in their cosy little dining area and were provided some tasty munooshi after a 15 minute wait.
Today, I ordered the Lamb Mince Munooshi. The pita bread was so soft and delicate, probably the best I’ve ever tasted. The lamb mince has a subtle sweetness, while the vegetables were fresh and crisp. The serving size was sufficient, but for the $8.90 price tag, it was fairly reasonable. The dish was healthy and tasted great!

The atmosphere was relaxed as the group sat there for a good 2 hours enjoying the food and each others company.
