There’s nothing more cliche than the good old ice cream store down by the beach. Royal Copenhagen certainly has it’s place in this beachside suburb by serving up a delicious range of ice creams in their trademark waffle cones. With so much variety, the choice is difficult, but there’s nothing better than having something cold and refreshing, particularly during a heatwave. Unlike their other stores, there is no option to have your ice cream inside. It’s a not a huge problem, but it is a difference between the franchises.

Today, I had a single scoop Cappucino Ice Cream in a regular cone. The ice cream was rich and decadent with a strong coffee flavour. The cone was nice and crunchy with the top part dipped in a lovely sweet chocolate.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. Pricing is a bit high but then again, you are paying for a premium product. The offerings are identical to the other stores minus the seating.
