Sunset Bar

It was a nice sunny Sunday and I wanted a lazy afternoon. What better way to enjoy it than drinking with friends at the Sunset Bar. As the name suggests, the view of the sunset would be awesome. They also offer a range of cocktails which is displayed on their walls.

A few of us also wanted to eat here. In terms of anything substantial, there wasn’t much to choose from. It was either the Angus Burger or the Open Wrap, which was basically a deconstructed yiros. On this occasion, I ordered the Angus Burger.

The meal arrived 15 minutes after ordering. The burger looked a bit basic, and was something I could easily replicate at home. The meat was tender and juicy, and the vegetables were fresh. The beer battered chips were great. Nice and crunchy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside.

It’s not a bad place to hang out with friends on an afternoon or evening, particularly on weekends. I feel they could extend their menu a bit for people who actually want to eat there. There were many choices in the area, but we didn’t want to lose our outdoor seating. Definitely come here for the cocktails and scenery, but not so much for the food.
