$10 lunch specials at Marcellina’s? I’m there! I’ve had their pizza before but was now tempted to try some of their pasta. This is the flagship store for the Marcellina franchise and has been around for over 40 years. The place has been refurbished to give a more modern feel. The staff here are friendly and the service was above average.

Today, I ordered the Fettuccine Zingara. The meal arrived 15 minutes after ordering and was beautifully presented. The sauce was thick and full of flavour. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. Sadly, the pasta was overcooked. The serving size was adequate to satisfy an empty stomach.

I thought this place was OK. Had the pasta been cooked properly I would have given it an extra star.
