Miss Mai is a cute and cosy little store located on James Place. The decor is contemporary with enough seating for about a dozen people. The place was clean, and the staff at the counter were warm and welcoming.

On this particular occasion, I went for the Vietnamese roast pork roll. It was delicious! The cut of roast pork was lean and well cooked. The skin was crispy, the meat was tender and there was a generous amount of roast pork in my roll. The roll was was fresh and it didn’t fall apart when you bit into it. The egg mayonnaise however, was a bit runny and the soy sauce was poured inconsistently making some parts of my roll more saltier than others.

The roast pork roll itself was pretty good but I felt it could have been better.
