If you’re wandering down Gouger Street, but you’re not feeling too adventurous food wise, Passatempo is the place for you. Located on Gouger Street, this basically decorated cafe offers all your traditional Italian fare. The staff here are friendly and inviting, and the service is good.
On this particular occasion, I ordered the Calzone Rustico. The meal came out after a 20 minute wait and all meals arrived at the same time. My calzone looked kind of funny. It was shaped like a head rest I was using during my holiday in Europe.
The calzone was well cooked, but there was bit too much dough and not enough filling. The filling itself was fine as the vegetables were fresh. The bolognese sauce was simple and delicious. The amount of sauce was more than generous.

The food was OK. Not the best Italian I’ve ever had, but not the worst either.
