This place brings back so many memories. Back in the days when I was studying late at university, this was the only place open at 5am. These days, it’s a place where we go when all the other restaurants are booked out. Perhaps it says something about the place, perhaps not.
I love the pizza’s at San Giorgio. I’ve never had the pasta because the people I know that have had it have always given me mixed reactions. The pizzas I can say are divine. The crust is thin and consistent. The toppings are fresh. The tomato base is top notch. The pizzas are full of flavour.

The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff here are warm and inviting, and very accommodating, particular when we haven’t booked. I’ve never really considered San Giorgio’s a serious Italian restaurant, but these days, it is slowly cruising into the Mediterranean.
