I love Jasmin! I’ve been to this restaurant a dozen times and I’ll keep on coming back for more. Located in a basement off Hindmarsh Square, this classy and elegant restaurant offers all your favourite Indian dishes. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with stylish timber furniture and local artwork. The staff are friendly and inviting. The service is exceptional. Add the dim lighting and relaxing music playing in the background, it really sets the mood for some quality Indian food, which is what you get at this place. This place gets busy so it pays to book to secure your seat.

When I eat here, I recommend the banquet. A bit pricey, but you certainly do get value for money. The food started coming out quickly soon after ordering. Instead of analysing each dish, I’ll just go through the highlights. The Samosas were fantastic! Perfectly spiced beef and onions in a crisp spring roll skin. The Chicken Tikka was full of flavour and almost identical to what I had recently in the UK. The succulent tender pieces of lamb in the Lamb Korma was to die for. The Butter Chicken was so smooth and creamy. The chicken perfectly cooked. The best I’ve ever had!

I love this place. I can’t recommend it enough. This restaurant has been around for many decades and does everything right. For Indian food, look no further than Jasmin.
