Cafe Brunelli

There are two things I love about Cafe Brunelli, their cheap movie dinner deals and their ability to accommodate for large groups of people. On more than one occasion, I’ve had over 50 people dine here prior to seeing a movie. The incredible thing was, no booking was made and they still catered for the whole group. On each occasion, they kept on stacking tables to the end of the existing tables as more and more people arrived.

On this particular occasion, I ordered the Calzone Rustico. The meal arrived 20 minutes after ordering. Not all meals arrived at the same time, but you can’t expect that for very large groups. The meal was nicely presented and was huge. The dough was well cooked and the ingredients were generous in amount and fresh. The calzone itself was swimming in bolognese sauce, which is just the way I like it.

The service here is quick and the staff and friendly and inviting. Depending on how crowded it is, the atmosphere can range from being relaxing to incredibly noisy. This place is definitely a favourite when it comes to catching up with friends.
