So many places to choose from when it comes to yum cha down Gouger Street. I must admit I’m a regular at the place across the road, but this place isn’t too bad either. The decor at this place is simple and the service wasn’t too bad. They have a large selection of yum cha dishes to choose from ranging from the traditional to a few extra ones that aren’t offered by the competition.
The group went for the usual favourites such as spring rolls, salt and pepper squid, barbecue pork buns and the numerous varieties of dumplings. I think we were a bit adventurous and tried a few things we wouldn’t normally go for. Unfortunately dishes such as the deep fried eggplant and the pumpkin pancakes weren’t to my liking.

I’d have to say this place was pretty good but I still like the yum cha place across the road better.
