Adelaide is a lucky place when it comes to experiencing food from different cultures. Located at the beginning of Henley Beach Road, Parwana offers a fusion of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. The decor at this place is simple and the staff are warm and inviting. The dimly lit lights really sets the mood for some delicious food.
On this occasion, I ordered the Morgh Kebab which could simply be described as a deconstructed chicken yiros with Asian fish sauce. The food arrived not long after ordering and all meals arrived at the same time. My chicken was well marinated and perfectly cooked. The fish sauce was something a Vietnamese mother would be proud of. The salad on the other hand had too much pepper in it. This ruined a perfectly good dish.

For my first Afghani food experience I’d have to say it was OK. Nothing more.

OH I am so jealous – Canberra doesn’t have much in the way of Afghan food and I’d love to have this meal! I’ll have to visit Adelaide 🙂 Thanks for the post 🙂
No worries! Glad this blog has been useful for you! 🙂
