BB Steak House is a takeaway store in the Southern Cross Arcade that specialises in Korean meat dishes. The chef used to work for a five star hotel which appears to be one of their selling points for eating here. There’s less than a dozen things to choose from on their menu, but the sound of meats cooking on the grill was enticing enough.

On this particular occasion I ordered the Pork Chops and Chicken Mixed Grill. The meats were tasty, well marinated and perfectly cooked. Each bite was full of flavour which worked well with the mash potato. The use of fruit in the salad was a nice touch. The natural sweetness of the fruit took away the need to use salad dressing and the acidity neutralises the oiliness from the meats. The serving size was adequate enough to satisfy a big appetite.

This is a great place to come for your quick meat fix. While it’s not the best meal I’ve ever had, I have to say it was good. Would I go back? Probably.
