Yiannis On Hindley make some of the best yiros in Adelaide. The décor is fairly basic and there aren’t too many seats available, but most of their customers are mostly take away anyway.

Today, I ordered my usual, the Lamb Yiros. Like most good yiros places, they perform the kill step after they slice the meat off the rotisserie. This involves cooking the meat over the grill to ensure the meat is cooked properly.

They Yiros itself is a decent size and is absolutely delicious! The lamb is tender, succulent and well marinated. The meat to vegetable ratio is about one to one. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy, and the garlic sauce is of a nice thick consistency. The pita bread is lightly grilled but not overly firm.

The service is fast and efficient, and the pricing is on par with other yiros shops. They certainly make a great yiros here and it is definitely worth a visit.
