Like most gourmet burger joints that have made a name for themselves, Enuf Burger Bar have opened up another store in the popular beachside suburb of Brighton. The menu has been extended since my last visit to the Glenelg store with new burger varieties available as well as a breakfast range. Whether it be chicken, beef, lamb, fish or vego, there’s pretty much something for everyone.

The Brighton store appears to be a little smaller than the Glenelg one. There are a few seats down the side, a bench at the front and some more seats along the pavement area.

For lunch, I had the Sam Kekovich burger which contains a lamb patty, bacon, pineapple, red onion, cheese, lettuce, beetroot, tomato and mayonnaise. The burger was ready after a 15 minute wait and was nicely presented.
The lamb was well marinated, tender and juicy. It had a nice thickness but had a smaller diameter than that of the bun. The bacon was a nice lean cut that could have been fried a bit longer. The saltiness of the bacon was well balanced by the sweetness of the pineapple, red onion and beetroot. The tomato was ripe and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. The brioche bun was firm and held all the ingredients in well.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed with views of the beach from the front dining areas. The cost of the burger was $12.50 which is fairly standard for gourmet burger joints and happens to be one of the most expensive burgers on the menu. The cheapest burger starts at $8.90, so it’s all very reasonable.
I’ll certainly be coming back to this store because I haven’t had enuf.
