Mojo’s is a fast food takeaway joint located further up Anzac Highway as you head towards Glenelg. The food offerings are considerable with a large selection of burgers, pizzas, fried seafood, roast chicken, sandwiches and salads. The place itself is neat and well presented with a small number of seats outside.

For lunch, I ordered the Steak Sandwich Burger. The burger was ready within 10 minutes of ordering and was nicely presented.

The steak was a premium cut of scotch fillet, and was tender and succulent. The tomato was soft and ripe, and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. The onion was sweet and nicely caramelised, which was complemented the tangy sourness of the pickles. The bun was fairly standard but it held all the ingredients in well.

A well executed no frills burger.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was reasonable. The cost of my burger was $8.90 which is average for a place like this. The other menu items vary in price depending on what you get, but it’s not over the top.

Location isn’t great but the food isn’t too bad.
