Prior to our group flying into Melbourne, we already had an itinerary of all the places we wanted to eat. Some of these places didn’t accept bookings and it was down to luck as to whether we’d get a seat. As we wandered out for breakfast, we discovered we had missed out on our preferred dining destination. Instead, we found Il Tempo, a restaurant and bar that serves traditional Italian fare.
For breakfast, I ordered the Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs. The eggs were soft and delicate and worked perfectly with the silky smooth texture of the smoked salmon. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, which complemented the slight crunchiness of the toast.

The following are the dishes the other members of the group ordered. I couldn’t recall any complaints as we were all fairly hungry.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was reasonable.
