What A Treat Cafe were serving up their dishes at Adelaide’s annual Trampoline Day. Three types of salads and two types of patties were on offer as well as a small range of desserts.
For lunch, I decided to have each of the salads with a curry patty. All the items were prepared off site and then brought on to the premises. A heating element was used to keep the patties warm.
The patty was a nice golden brown and slightly charred around the edges. It mainly consisted of vegetables with a subtle curry flavour. The sweet barbecue like sauce provided made the patty more palatable.
There were three salads; cous cous, pasta salad and the vegetable salad. The cous cous tasted like you would expect, which was rather bland. The pasta salad had pasta that was firmer than I would have expected. More probably because it was refrigerated rather than it being under cooked. The vegetable salad was quite nice as it had plenty of flavour. I really liked the pumpkin in the salad as it was soft and sweet.

The meal was OK, but I’ve had better.
