Chickens on Parade is a modern chicken shop. The decor is modern and the staff are friendly. I was heading to a place called Omar’s to try their AB after a recommendation but unfortunately that place had closed down. Instead I found this place that also offered the same meal but it was called a Hangover.

After a short wait, the Hangover was ready. The size of the meal was huge and could have easily fed three or four people. The chips were perfectly cooked and crunchy. There was an adequate amount of chilli, tomato and garlic sauce. The quantity of meat was more than generous, but that’s also where it failed. The lamb was fatty and precooked. The meat was no long tender and there were gristly bits left, right and centre. Fix up the meat problem I would have been a happy chappy.

This place is probably great for a quick takeaway meal. I just felt the Hangover I ordered could have been better.
