The same people that setup the Bombay Bicycle Club also setup the Tap Inn. Located just outside the city, this place will impress you with its jungle themed decor and antique furnishings. This place is really popular and it is strongly recommended that you book to get a seat. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.
On this occasion, a friend and I decided to get the Punjab Platter just to taste a bit of everything off the menu. The platter came with Salt and Pepper Squid, Samosas, Tamil Tigers, Ghurkers, Battered Whiting, Beef Kebabs, and Tandoori Lamb Cutlets. Essentially a mish mash of western and Indian food. The squid and whiting were fresh and perfectly cooked. The kebabs were over cooked and hard to eat. The lamb cutlets were OK but I’ve had better.

My friends keep on raving about how good the Indian food is at this place, but on the night I was here, I just didn’t experience it. It’s definitely a great place to get together with friends for a drink, but for the food? Judge for yourself!
