These Nic & Rocco dessert bars seems to be popping up everywhere with another one just opening up in Rundle Mall. Like their Norwood store, this place is just as small, with seating capacity for a dozen people. The offerings are pretty much the same, however, I do see them regularly introduce new product lines.
Today, I ordered the Cappuccino Mousse, which is a sponge cake surrounding a mousse filling. The mousse was light and smooth with a milky coffee flavour. The sponge cake, on the other hand, was dry. At $5.50, I thought it was a bit small for what you got. Perhaps good for my waist line, but not so much for the hip pocket.
The staff were friendly, however, I felt the service was a bit slow. All they had to do was take the cake out of the cabinet and serve it to me on a plate. It shouldn’t have taken 10 minutes. The dessert itself was OK and better than my previous experiences at their other stores.

We are writing about these guys everywhere we can to appreciate there service. We used our scoopon voucher in Nic and Rocco Rundlemall store. Amazing desserts yummuyyy. Had churros and Belgium waffles from there dessert menu the flavour was amazing and coffee was nice and strong. Staff was efficient and helpful. Store was extremely but still got everything in less then 10 mins which is excellent. So we are definitely going back. Thanks guys
