To quench your thirst and wet your whistle on those warm summer days in the city, Fun Tea has landed right in the heart of Adelaide on Rundle Street.
Established in 2017 by co-owners Jason and Shan Shan, the store was formerly known as World Tea House before being revamped and renamed to Fun Tea, which stands for Fruit United Nation Tea.
With the philosophy of delivering ‘the healthiest and yummiest freshly-made drinks to every corner of Australia in a fun way to enjoy by all’, Rundle Mall is Fun Tea’s second Adelaide location after their Chinatown store opened earlier this year.
Fun Tea offer an expansive menu of teas to satisfy everyone’s tastebuds, with all their fun and fruity products being made from local Australian grown fruits, fresh milk and exotic blends.
“To enable Fun Tea to keep leading the trend, our heavily-invested and strongest R&D team is not stopping for a single second in developing new and yummy drinks,” Co-Owner Jason Shan said.
A unique item on their menu is their cream cheese tea, which is made from top-ranking Kungfu tea and matched with a slightly salty and thick cream cheese cover.
In addition to traditional fruit and bubble teas, Fun Tea will also be offering dirty teas, which are complemented with flavours such as strawberry, mango, matcha and black sugar.
With plenty of comfy seating, a long window bench and fluffy “clouds” hanging from the ceiling, Fun Tea offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city crowds this silly season.
“Our menus will be updated frequently, based on different seasons and food materials,” Jason said.
Located on York Street just next to Hungry Jacks, Fun Tea officially opened just in time for Christmas Eve on December 24.
